1) The tone of this picture is probably brave and scared. Why is because the women is being brave for standing up to that many people and scared because of what they might do.

2) The artist purpose for this picture is to persuade people to stand up for what they believe in.
In the picture there is only one women out there standing up to about 20 or 30 men now thats stepping up.
