The purpose of this blog is for students and staff at Northwest High School to discuss books, magazines, websites and anything else related to reading and technology.
1) The tone of the picture is serious because it shows african americans marching for what they believe in.
2) The artist's purpose was to show how hard it was for african americans to gain equality like the whites.
3) The authors perspective is that the african americans didn't have equaltiy and they had to march and strike out to the whites to gain their equality.

The African Americans are marching for equal rights. 2.The artist's purpose is to show us how hard people fight to support what they believe in. The african americans wanted equality between them and the whites and they were determined to change segregation. 3.The author's perspective based on what I have seen is that they are with the african americans and believe there should be integration.I think this because it shows the african americans marching for their rights.

2. The author's purpose of is to show how much people are willing to fight for there rights. I think this because it looks like rain, but they're still marching strong.
3. I think the author respects the people who are willing to do anything for freedom/rights.
