The tone of the image is depressing. The child has his head down on the ground in a sad posture and doesn't look so healthy. The author's purpose is of this to me is so that we can realize how lucky we are to have all of the perks in life, while children wither away without a fair chance to face the world. People are out there and are in need of help, we just choose not to acknowledge it. I believe the author's perspective is a helpful one. I think the author's purpose is to, like i said, open eyes and bring attention to the fact that there are starving people that are struggling so much more than us in this world. I say that because the author purposly put a picture where you could see the childs ribs to indicate that he is hungry and possibly dying of starvation. 3. The author's perspective is that there needs to be something done about starvation. He/she expressed the importance by making it a eye opening, jaw dropping picture.
1) The tone of this image is sad because it shows an emaciated boy dying and a vulture getting ready to eat him. 2) The author's purpose of this picutre is to show people that starvation is very real and it happens to people of all ages. I think this because it shows the little boy who's really skinny crying and the vulture getting ready to eat him since its a little boy it shows that starvation does not only happen to adults but to children as well. 3) The author's perspective in this is that starvation is very real and it takes the lives of many. I think the author values life and is trying to show that people don't always have as good of a life as we might have by showing a little boy dying in the picture about to be eaten by a vulture.
